FTTC135 In Shapes!

It's Tuesday - my favorite day of the week!! This week's Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC135 hostess is Beate Johns. Her challenge is to make anything but a regular shaped card. It can be a circle, oval, or even a square card.

When I read the challenge I think I cried!! I tried making a shaped card a couple of weeks ago and I went through about ten sheets of card stock and never could do it. I decided to take a deep breath and go for it again. I decided to play it a bit safe and go with a circle card. Even that was a challenge for me. So now I know what I need to work on!!

This week I chose a set I have wanted to color for so long...Apple of My Eye. I just love these apples, I also love all the other images with this set they are just fabulous. I had a great time coloring these apples and trying different shading colors.

Now it's time to check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the design team ~ Cindy, Heather, Maki, Tammy, Silke, Beate and Betty.

You rocked it, Theresa, even if it did give you fits :) I've never been happy with the shaped cards I make either, and I bet it really is all about practice. It usually is :)
I'm trying to isolate the element I love most in your card, and I can't pick one - your colouring is gorgeous, and the ribbon & papers complement the image so perfectly.
