My Time Made Easy

Hello Crafters -

I am so excited to make this announcement. I was asked to join the My Time Made Easy Pretty Patterns Design Team. I was supposed to start week before last, but due to technical difficulties I couldn't get started.

For my card today, I used this beautiful flower set called Be Dazzled. It's just so lovely. I chose not to use a sentiment so that I can customize it later when I decide to give it away - as if I would!!

I find when I make cards in this orientation, I can't seem to get my image that is posted here larger. So please click on the image and you'll be able to see the detail in the flowers and the DPs.

So, let’s get sketchy! You are free to MTME's sketches on any project you want, get your creativity on! While participation with products from My Time Made Easy ™ LLC is appreciated, it is not required to participate. You can use products from ANY company. Sketch Keyword is MTMEPPS70.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #161

Okay, I struggled at writing my post last night, so I decided to wait till now to complete it! I was so tired by the time I got my card done that I just couldn't keep my eyes open. Going back to work has been a very rough transition!

This week Raisin Boat is our sponsor. As Melissa calls it, it's the Blockbuster of stamps. You can rent the stamps and send them back and get new ones. How cool is that? For my card this week I am using a set called Naughty or Nice. This snowman is just too sweet. Meredith, if you're reading this...they have a puppy in this set too (two of them to be exact)!

Be sure to head over to the TMS blog to check out the sketch and the rest of the DT work - it's amazing. Can't wait to see your creations.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!

Torico’s new set this month is well, it’s a GRAND SLAM!! America’s favorite past time has been brought to life with Torico’s fabulous style, and cutesy whimsical characters!! For the baseball enthusiast to the mom/dad yelling in the stands, this set is PERFECT for the baseball lover in your life! Can you imagine the scrapbooking possibilities!

There She Goes Release Week | Day One

For my Tuesday Morning Sketches click here or scroll down.

Do we ever have a great release week for you at There She Goes. I love all four sets that we will be showing off this week. You'll definitely want to come back. Without further ado...

Our favorite new animal at There She Goes is the Donkey, and this month Melyssa has found great new ways for us to dress up our Donkey however we see fit. With his super cute tee shirt, and several sayings, you can send Donkey to the University, or just let everyone know what a STUD he is!! We hope you love this set as much as WE do, because believe me, we are in LOVE!!

Donkey University is a 4x4 set that includes a total of 13 stamps and will sell for $10.00.

For my card, I just couldn't resist using this sentiment. Although I debated for days because the sentiments are a hoot!! If you don't mind me saying so - I think I rocked the coloring. Hope you think so too!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #160

It's going to be a busy day, so I have to make it quick. Sadly, it was time to officially report to school. It was a great day and it's going to be an awesome school year. This week is just going to be a big whirlwind for me.

Today at Tuesday Morning Sketches our sponsor is The Stamping Boutique. In the spirit of returning to school I selected this fabulous image of an old school desk. I just love it. Instead of one sketch today - it's your choice of four different sketches. You get to pick - how fun is that?

I hope that you'll stop by the DT's blog and our Guest Designer - Shelby Thomas to see their incredible creations.

Here are the four sketches that you get to choose from. I can't wait to see what you make.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #159

It's a fabulous Tuesday...at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Today's sketch is awesome. I love all the work that the DT created. Our sponsor this week is Sparkle Creations. I adore her stamps. Be sure to check out her store.

For my card I used Cafe Lucy. I think she's a cutie. If I may say so, I really like how my coloring came out. The one thing I wish that I could master is the grounding. I gave it a try.

Here is your sketch, I do hope that you'll join us.

I do hope that you'll join us this week. Be sure to check out the TMS blog to see the DT and our guest designer. Shelby.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!

TSG169 - Back To School

Okay, it's that time of year...I head back to school tomorrow. I have a week of training and then another week of meetings, and then I get the kiddos! So in the spirit of the season...There She Goes is having a back to school challenge.

This week our challenge is brought to us by Our Trendsetters! We are challenging you to make a card or project with a Back To School theme!

For my card I used Believe In You...this set is close to my heart as it was my pitch to Jessica when I found her company. I love this set...I love it so much that I tend to hoard it because I don't want the image to get "whatever"! Now is that silly or what? I love the school house. It's a great image to welcome everyone back to school. I used this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #47. Aren't these colors just so festive?

To be eligible for the giveaway, create a card or project using the back to school theme, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (August 20th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the lookout to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG169 so we can check out your beautiful work!

Need some inspiration to help you get started? Check out these great cards made by the following Trendsetters!

My Time Made Easy

Afternoon Friends -

I was encouraged to apply for the My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette DT and I thought why not? I think it's time to break out of my comfort zone of comfortable colors. So here are my submissions to this wonderful group of designers. I have used many of the My Time Made Easy templates, but when my computer fried I had to upgrade everything - therefore I can't use the templates because Cricut doesn't want to play with SCAL. Bummer heh!!

The submission stated to make two card using Pretty Patterns sketches #66 & 67. Use any of the Pretty Palette color challenges. Here are my two cards.

Isn't this little girl too precious. I want to be her frolicking after butterflies.

For my card I used the color palette of daffodil, white, and dark grey. The sketch was a bit challenge in determining how to do the frame. I had fun getting the paper cut and lacing it together. I think the effect makes the card pop.

I just loved this image too! The set comes with all kinds of Back to School images and I had a hard time picking which image to go with. I finally settled with this darling little girl who is ready to go back to school - unlike me. Today is my last day of vacation - it all begins tomorrow. Kids in two weeks!!
For this card I used the color palette of daffodil, coral, pear, and black. Can you all believe I didn't make a card using pinks!! These cards were really fun to put together. Even if I don't make the team I believe I'll start playing with color challenges.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #158

Hello Everyone -

I took a little break! This month with be slim with posts because it's time to go back to work. Summer is over - boo hoo! I am looking forward to the start of the new year. I will be teaching third grade and I will have some of the same kiddos I had last year. It's so much easier to get started when they already know your style.

This week TMS is introducing a fabulous guest designer. We're calling our line up of guest designers, "The Best of the Best." The talented designers that I have selected are of course my opinion, but I am sure that you will see why I've selected these talented ladies. So be sure to head over to the TMS blog to see this month's Best of the Best.

This week we have a great sketch and Digi Doodles is our sponsor. This week is also our Judged Challenge week which means you'll need to use the sketch and incorporate a birthday theme. Yes, birthday theme - the reason for this is tomorrow is Melissa's birthday. We're celebrating her!!

Happy Birthday Melissa - You are my sunshine!

For my card I tried to incorporate some of Melissa's favorite colors - purple, blue, and yellow. I couldn't see putting more flowers when there are already flowers - so I added the bling. This card should be arriving at Melissa's soon!

Here is this week's sketch...be sure to check out our guest designer - you'll be blown away. Also go to our fabulous DT and check out their wonderful birthday creations as well.
Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!
