There She Goes Release Week | Day Two

It's day two of the There She Goes Release Week. Today is jammed packed with wonderful photos. Sit back and enjoy.

This month we are introducing a BRAND new artist to There She Goes, Megan Suarez!! She has started us out with three FABULOUS stamp sets, which we think you are going to love. Her style is a touch on the side of gothic, but so much fun. We can’t wait to see what’s next with this AMAZING designer!!
Penelope & Birdcage is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 4 stamps and will sell for $9.00.

Isn't Penelope just the cutest? I struggled between her and the birdcage. Both images are just adorable. I wanted more practice with hair. I just love the blue and yellow combination.

Nutmeg is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 5 stamps and will sell for $9.00.

Okay, I am totally in love with Nutmeg. When I saw her hair I about freaked because I had no clue what I was going to do. I watched YouTube videos for hours and then came across one that showed how to make curly hair. I love how this came out. I hope you like it too.

Journal Lines is a 3x4 set that includes 1 stamp, and will sell for $9.00.

Okay, when I first saw this I thought, "Great, something for my scrapbooks." Then I was cleaning my office because I needed some sticky notes for my class. I was looking at Journal Lines and my plain sticky notes and viola - I can stamp the lines on my sticky notes that my students and I don't like to use the ones without lines. I am so excited. I made a Post-It Note Holder using Bloom. I added the little daisy from the Lucky Duck set.

Would you like to win all three new stamp sets from Megan Suarez (Penelope & Birdcage / Nutmeg / Journal Lines)? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post.

There She Goes Release Week | Day One

It's Release Week over at There She Goes...my favorite week! Do we ever have some fabulous stamp sets to show you - six in all! So let's get started.

If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck…well, it’s probably a Lucky Duck!! Ok, that was corny, but this SUPER cute set by Torico will make you squeal with delight…could it get any cuter? Lots of ducks, and stamps to build the perfect scene, it’s so versatile.

Lucky Duck is a 4x8 set that includes a total of 24 stamps and will sell for $18.00.

While brainstorming the sentiments for Lucky Duck, as always, we took a turn for the dark side…..what else can I say besides this set is ducking awesome!!

Hooked on Quack is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 7 stamps and will sell for $9.00.

Ok, isn't the face on this duck just too precious? I have a new favorite set...I love the sentiments. I'm glad that Jessica gave us two sets of sentiments. The sentiment I used comes from Hooked on Quack and I love it. I had a bit of a tiff with someone and I hope they realize I am sorry and I'm sure this card will help with that.

Would you like to win the new Lucky Duck /Hooked on Quack stamp sets? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post.

Dream a New Dream

Ending the week off with There She Goes (Again!) I decided to highlight one more set. I chose Dream a New Dream. I just happen to love all the TSG stamp sets with flowers in them. This set is just "dreamy."

For my card I used this beautiful bouquet of flowers. I'm not really sure what kind of flowers they are, but they are pretty. They remind me of a wedding bouquet - I used to make wedding flowers (a lifetime ago). I was recently asked if I could do anything what would I do. I would love to go back to being a florist. I used to love to make floral arrangements. Now I love coloring and making cards. I love how this card came out! Now I know why I have boxes full of cards...I can't seem to part with them.

I hope you stop by the TSG blog to see all the gorgeous cards the Trendsetter's made. You won't believe the gorgeous eye candy. Just think I'm part of it!!

Thanks for stopping by today. Have an awesome day.

TSG198 - Color Challenge

This week at There She Goes our challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the week, Carole!!  She has challenged us to make a card or project using the color swatch provided- shades of green.

For my card I used Zoo-Pendous. I have had this set for a while and haven't been able to ink up my set even though I have some pages to make for my cousin and her kids' trip to the zoo. I'm not a big fan of green all by itself, but this came out fun. I think I had to go through every piece of scrap paper that I had to get different shades. I hope you'll come and join us this week.

To be eligible for the giveaway, create a NEW card or project using this week’s color challenge and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (March 18th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the lookout to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG198 so we can check out your beautiful work!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #188

This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we have a great sketch this week and a favorite sponsor - DRS Designs. The winner will receive a $15.00 gift card to their store. For my card I used a wonderful stamp I had - called Large Strawberries. I can't wait for warmer days to have some sweet strawberries. These look good enough to eat.

I want to thank everyone for your wonderful well wishes. My knee and leg is still really bruised, but I am fine.

I hope that you'll come along and play with us this week. Be sure to check out the rest of the DTs wonderful projects.

TSG197 - Black Cardstock

This week’s There She Goes challenge is brought to you by one of our new trendsetters, Vera Yates!! She has challenged us to make a card using only black cardstock for your layering.

For my card today I chose to use the new Giddy Up set. I also noticed that in the store Jessica is offering a Silhouette Cut File for this darling set. I have to say I was a bit intimidated to color this precious little girl, but I really love how she came out. I personally am not a cowgirl at all. I am city girl all the way! But she is just precious. I just love the pony. If I were a cowgirl, I'd have it no other way than pink boots.

To be eligible for the giveaway, create a NEW card or project using this week’s challenge(matting with black cardstock) and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (March 11th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
