Tuesday Morning Sketches

Good Morning Crafters -

Today Melissa has a wonderful sketch and a great sponsor - Doodle Pantry. On a more personal note - I am on Sprink Break - Yahoo!! I was so ready for a break. What I don't like is that I get so mentally exhausted that I tend to sleep the break away. I have so much I want to do...

I hope that you'll come and join us this week. I'd love to see how you interpret today's sketch. I hope you like what I did. I can't wait to hear your comments.

Have an awesome day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches

I nearly let this Tuesday pass me by...today's challenge is not a sketch but a challenge - a subject that is near and dear to my heart:
K.I.D.S.

This means Keep It Delightfully Simple but with a "kid" theme.

Well I totally CASED this card from the Close to My Heart catalogue. I have been wanting to make this for a while and now I finally had a reason. I know we shouldn't have to have a reason to make a card, but my craft room looks like a tornado hit and I just haven't been able to find the time to get it clean. Spring break is coming and I plan to clean out a lot of junk!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you enjoy my card. I hope that you join us at Tuesday Morning Sketches - I can't wait to see your kid theme.

Have an awesome day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches

First, let me shout out a big Happy 16th Birthday to my nephew! I can't believe my little man is 16...it's amazing how fast time flies.

Onto this weeks sketch and card. Like I said, Melissa has some great sketches this month. This week is a gate fold card. I've never made one before so I had to some YouTube seaching. I found that this was an incredibly simple and yet very elegant card. Our sponsor this week is - Digi's by Phooka, be sure to stop by her blog and check out her digi's.

I am in need of Spring to get here!! So I decided to make my card using this cute flower DP and my center flower I stamped it to look like the sun. It's cold here today. We were supposed to wake up to snow, but it was just a light dusting, but it's supposed to snow all morning - 1 to 3 inches. The sentiment inside my card says, "Sending you sunshine and laughter."

I hope that you like the sketch...I can't wait to see what you all put together. I really had a great time putting this together. Thanks for stopping by.

Have an awesome day!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches

I am so glad that it's March. Typically in Denver it's the snowiest month. I hope not!! I know that we haven't had much snow, but the three or four snow storms we've had has been enough for me. I think the cold is what I hate and because the weather can't make up it's mind - I managed to get a terrible cold. With that cold came strep throat and pink eye. I want SPRING!!

Oh well...

It's a new month and Melissa has a wonderful sketch and sponsor for us today. Our sponsor is Catherine Pooler, a Stampin' Up Demonstrator. For the month of March Melissa has created some amazing sketches. I hope that you'll be here every week to join us.

For my card I used a stamp set called Razzle Dazzle. I bought a year or more ago. I really love this stamp set, but I never put it to use - like most of my stamp sets! I'm lovin' the colors that I put together with this card.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!!
