This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches, we have a wonderful sketch from Melissa. It's simple and really fun. I limited my creativity this weekend because of the project below (TSG exchange).
I fell and hurt my hand - my right hand and after coloring all those poppies, my hand was swollen again!! So I went for the quickest thing.
I do however, like how this card came out. I just love the DP. It was on clearance at Michaels and I just thought it was yummy.
I hope that you'll join us this week at TMS. Can't wait to see what you create.
Have an awesome day.

There She Goes Card & ATC Exchange
Oh sometime back in February I joined Michelle's TSG card & ATC exchange on Splitcoast Stampers. I figured, I had 3 months (due May 1st) to get them done. I planned to get my contribution done over my spring break. Well that came and went!! Here is it April 25th and I have 6 days before they are due and I just finished them. Nothing like last minute. Now I have to rely on the post office to get them to her on time. I tell you...what was I thinking?
I made my card using last month's TSG release of Poppies. I was so intimidated to ink this set up, but I finally opened the package and wow do I ever loved how they stamped and I love the coloring job I did. I really enjoyed inking up this set.
The ATC I made I went back to one of my favorite sets - Treemendous! I also used my favorite colors: pink and green. As I was putting these together I ran out of the silver gems and had to go to Michael's to get more. I like how they came out.
Whew!! I am glad I am done and I hope those who receive my cards enjoy them.
Thanks for stopping by.

Flower Pot Card
Well I just had to give it a try...the flower pot card! I have seen them on other people's blogs and thought about making these with my students for mother's day cards. Whew!! Way too much work. I had thought they would be easy - what was I thinking? It's not that it wasn't, but way too much cutting even with my Expressions.
I had planned to make 3 of them for Administrative Professionals Day and give them to the admins in the school. Well that's not happening - they just get a homemade card.
My flower pot managed to evolve into a birthday card for the school's Assistant Principal. I decided to not have the card pull out. I didn't want to write a personal message in the card, so I glued it in to hold the top heavy flowers. She can tack the card to her bulletin board.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my creation.

Tuesday Morning Sketches
It's another fabulous Tuesday. Guess what? I am this week's prize host!
I really love my Close To My Heart Consultant, Debi Squires so I am promoting CTMH products. I have a great prize - a set called Simple Beauty. This set was released at a Stamp of the Month in 2008 and it is so beautiful that I had to share. Debi is so cool in that she purchases a lot of stamps sets and has this amazing basement for scrapbooking classes and storage. This stamp set is simply a must have!!
On to my card. I even designed the sketch - my first one! I hope that you'll all come and join us this week. I hope you enjoy the card!

Tuesday Morning Sketches
Hello! It's another wonderful Tuesday. My mind is on school and I only have 6 more Tuesdays and school is OUT!!!
This week at TMS it's a recipe - soft hues, ribbon, and flowers. I hope that I managed the soft hues - not really sure what that means. Our sponsor this week is Doodle Palace. I love sunflowers so how could I pass on using this image!! I also added the butterfly from my new Poppies set from TSG.
I hope you enjoy and join us. Be sure to check out the line up from the other DT members - they're awesome!
Have an amazing day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches
We have another birthday at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Today is my niece Hollyanne's 12th birthday - amazing how time flies. So today is a virtual birthday party in honor of her - you'll also have to check it out - she has her own blog: Hollyanne - check it out she's becoming quite talented.
Our sponsor this week is Sew Many Cards. The image used is called Jovi with Girl - it's darling! We all know as little girls we loved either our bunnies or our Teddy bears. I loved the image more and more as I started to put it together with the designer paper.
Today's sketch is just wonderful.
