MTME - Pretty Patterns #74

This week at My Time Made Easy - Pretty Patterns we have a great sketch for you to try. I found this wonderful package of digis that I just had to have. Although the intent of the digi sets is for "fathers" I saw it completely differently. I hope you do to.

The set is called A Vintage Day for Dad. Well I'm not into dads so I would never make a card for fathers, but I love the images and I didn't necessarily see them as "dad" material. I just love how this card came out.

Be sure to stop by the MTME blog to check out the sketch and the rest of the DT work.

Thanks for stopping by.

Have an awesome day!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #169

Hello Crafters-

I just love this time of year. I think fall is just a gorgeous time of the year in Colorado. I love seeing all the gorgeous colors of the trees and feeling the crisp feel of the morning air. This week I couldn't resist using this sweet little image and her big pumpkin.

This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we have a fabulous sketch and sponsor - Stamp Fairy. Be sure to visit her store - she has some fabulous digis and she's offering $10 in digis to this week's winner. I hope that you'll come play along with us.
Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to stop by to see what our Best of Best Guest Designer, Alison made and the rest of the DT. It's an amazing line up.

Have an awesome day!

TSG178 Sketch Challenge

It's been a long time since I've participated on a Monday challenge. I received a set I have been waiting to get for a long time. It's called Bountiful Blessings and it is so befitting for the Fall season.

This week, our challenge is to use the sketch provided. It was inspired by a card from our fabulous Trendsetter, Kim O!!

To be eligible for the giveaway, create a card or project using the provided sketch, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (October 29th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the lookout to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG178 so we can check out your beautiful work!

Halloween Project

Afternoon Crafters -

This will be a quick post. I am working on my Halloween projects for school. I think I came up with a great project (now this was not my original idea - I saw it on Facebook or Pinterest - and I don't know who to give full credit to.)

I love the project and I used my fabulous There She Goes Halloween set called Bugs and Hisses. I also used some Silhouette cut files that Jessica provided me to try out on my new Silhouette. The popcorn box was cut from Close To My Heart's Artiste Cricut Art Cartridge.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day.

MTME - Pretty Palettes #73

Welcome Crafters -

I'm here with another fabulous color palette from My Time Made Easy. I selected an image from the digital store and I think she's adorable. She's called "Witch Way Single."

Have you figured out the color palette? Isn't this little witch adorable? There was no way I was coloring her in black. I love the "blue" I selected to complement the blue berry argyle paper. For the layout I used Mojo Monday #263

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!!

I'm still offering some blog candy - I hope you'll join me.

Hello Crafters -

I was a bit late getting this post up! I had to take Tuesday off from work and now I've lost a day and thought I had one more day to get this done. I just love how this card came out. It reminds me some of the summer time I spent in Maine with a friend. The sketch is so easy, I flipped it! I hope you'll come along and play with us at My Time Made Easy.

I used Seas the Day and Seas the Day Sentiments.

Here is this weeks sketch. I can't wait to see what you do with it!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #167

Welcome to today's challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches. We have a great sketch and this week is also judged challenge week. Our sponsor this week is Sassy Studio Design and I think I found the most perfect image to celebrate October - this beauty is called Pink Ribbon Frame.

I had forgotten how much fun it is to color people. I have somewhat stepped away from my craft table. I'm still not back into the swing of crafting, but I'm getting there.

I love the doily I put behind her! As part of my birthday celebration I bought myself a Silhouette!! I'm not sure I like it yet. I will never part with my Cricut, but I do love how the Silhouette cuts so perfectly. I just need time to sit down and play with it!

Onto the sketch...as I said this week is the judged challenge. To be eligible for this week's prize you need to use the sketch and the twist - you card must be based on the letter "E". For my card I used ethereal beauty!
I'm not good at round cards so I added the square background!! It's up to you how you interpret the sketch.

Thanks for stopping by. I do hope you'll come along and play with us at TMS. Have an awesome day!

Major Milestones and Blog Candy

Sorry for my late post...had to sleep in!

Since today is my 50th Birthday! 50 - I just think that number is wrong. It's not only my 50th birthday, it is also my 5th Anniversary of being cancer free! I reached two major milestones in my life. To celebrate that I have some fabulous blog candy.

To be eligible, I would like you to follow my blog and pass the word around that I'm making this offer. It will run through to the end of the month (October 31st). I am offering some of absolutely favorite items in the craft making world. There will be a couple of different gifts so I can spread the love to more than one person.

Gift Number One

I recently decided to sell Close to My Heart and I am offering one of my well loved Cricut ensembles.

This is called Art Philosophy and I just love it! It comes with the Cricut Cartridge, 3 stamp sets, and 3 different chip boards. I just love it - it's great for card makers.

Gift Number Two

You all know how much I LOVE my TSG stamps. I'm giving a $25 gift certificate to go shopping in the TSG store.

Gift Number Three

I love my Copics (never thought I would), but you get to pick 6 colors that you would love to have.

For now that's it! There may be one more item that could be added at the end of the month. We'll have to see!!

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day - I know I am going to!

My Time Made Easy - Pretty Palettes #72

Okay, call me "stupid"! I was so excited that I had my card done for the My Time Made Easy - Pretty Palettes #72 Challenge. I got it done, took the photo, and loaded into my Yahoo Group. Low and behold I goofed!! I used black instead of navy - I somehow just wrote it down wrong when I set up my schedule. I wanted to redo the card, however, I'm going out with friends and won't be back till late. My apologies to MTME.

Well, I really like my card and will just live with the boo boo! I love this image of the tea cup - called A Spot of Tea. It reminds me of my little sister. She used to collect tea cups (course I bought her a lot of them) and I really miss her, so I just had to use this image.

The color challenge this week is:

But as I said, "Oops...navy not black." Please forgive me! I hope you'll come and join us.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #166

Good Morning Crafters -

First, let me start with my sincerest apologies to all those that have commented on my cards. I am SO far behind in commenting. I am hoping now that I am in the swing of things with school my life should  get back to normal - no more late nights (I hope!). I'll be faithfully around because I miss seeing your gorgeous work.

It's a wonderful day at Tuesday Morning Sketches. We have a great sketch - I really like this sketch. Our sponsor this week is Paper Pretties. I selected a great digi called Pretty Present. I needed a birthday card that could work for a male and a female. I really like how this card came out. For the square behind the image I used a cocktail coaster (my favorite bar donated a massive amount of these coasters and I want to put the to use). It adds a bit of dimension to the card.

Please stop by the TMS blog to check out the sketch. I appreciate you're stopping by.

Have an awesome day.

P.S. Be sure to come by on Saturday...I'll be offering some blog candy to celebrate two huge milestones.
