MTME Pretty Patterns Sketches #72

Hello Crafters -

I think my mojo is finally coming back. I really enjoyed my time in my craft room tonight. I am happy to say that I really like my card. I was asked to be on the My Time Made Easy Pretty Patterns Sketch Team and I sort of fell short of making my commitment. I think I am back on track!

This week at MTME we have a fabulous sketch. I used the digi set titled Bold Botanicals. I just love coloring up flowers, they sooth my soul. I hope that you'll come and play along. While participation with products from My Time Made Easy ™ LLC is appreciated, it is not required to participate. You can use products from ANY company. Sketch Keyword is MTMEPPS72.

As I was working with these beautiful flowers all I could think of is October is just a few days away. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This card ended up becoming a card that I'll be sending my doctor. I reach my 5 year milestone in October. I can't wait to see her to show her the strength that I gained over the past 5 years.

Here is today's sketch...be sure to come and play along.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #165

Hello Crafters -

This will be a quick post...I am exhausted. Today we went on our first field trip - to the mountains! I had a blast and I even managed to make the hike (with my cruddy knee). The kids had a great time too.

This week we have a great sketch (designed by me) and we have the best sponsor ever - There She Goes! I used a new set titled On the Move. It's such a fun set. I didn't get the opportunity to make a card when this set was released (I was busy with the start school or sick). I just love how this came out. I hope you'll head over and check out the new store.

Isn't that dog the cutest? I really enjoyed coloring up this image. I hope that you'll join us this week. The sketch is super fun and if you have TSG images show them off. Stop by the rest of the DT and see their amazing cards. Today we also say goodbye to Chupa - our "Best of the Best" Guest Designer this month.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #164

Hello Crafters -

First, let me once again apologize for being so absent. I have lost the want to make cards. I know it's just that my schedule is busy with school, mentoring, and being sick - again! I took last week off and I am hoping that I can back into what I really enjoy this week. I think my classroom is finally where it needs to be and there should be no more late nights.

This week at TMS we have a sweet and simple sketch and a great sponsor - Guylou's Inimitability DigiStamps. I selected this Fairy to play with. I thought it was a very interesting image and really enjoyed coloring it up.

I originally thought about highlighting the colors of the sun flower, but decided on the dress and wings. I found this gorgeous paper from MME called Graceful. It took me forever to decide on the paper - I wanted to use all of them. I like how this card came it. I hope that you'll take the time to stop by and see the rest of DT's gorgeous cards plus our Best of the Best Guest Designer - Iwona (Chupa) Palamountain. Here is today's sketch.

Thanks for hanging in there with me. October is coming and I will be having some fabulous blog candy to celebrate two major milestones.

Have an awesome day!

Each day will have its own Inlinkz for you to link your creation to, and then on Friday, we will post an Inlinkz for ANYONE who has created a card for each challenge. The random winner chosen from all those that have finished all FIVE of the challenges, and added their name to the Inlinkz, will be entered to win our grand prize drawing-a $75 gift card to the There She Goes store!!!!
Ready to get started???

Today’s challenge is brought to us by our blast from the past NEW trendsetter, Danielle!!!  She has challenged us to make a card or project using a banner of any kind you wish, with a birthday theme of COURSE!! It can be a handmade banner, a patterned paper with a banner on it, an image of a banner…the skies the limit!!

For my card I pulled out one of my favorite flower sets - Poppies. I wanted to keep the card clean and simple. This is like the first time that I have used banners on my card. I think it came out nice. I hope you like it too. I hope you'll join us for this wonderful celebration.

Remember to come back and add your creation to the Inklinkz for TSGBC04!!

Here are the rules: For the daily challenge prizes of $15, you can use stamps from any company you chose, but we would LOVE to see you using your There She Goes stamps!! However, to be eligible to win the Grand Prize of $75, all you entries much use There She Goes stamps only!

You will have until 8pmEST Friday, September 14th to finish this challenge, and the winner will be announced on Saturday, September 15th at 12amEST!! That gives you over a week to get finished!! If you happen to finish them all, and we hope that you do, you can add your name to the Inlinkz being posted on Saturday, September 8th to be entered to win the GRAND PRIZE!!!!

Want a calendar to help you keep things straight? Well, here you go!!

My Time Made Easy ~ Pretty Palette #70

A while back I applied for the My Time Made Easy ™ LLC ~ Pretty Palettes Team. I had no idea that I would that they would pick me. Well they did. So now I am on both their teams (Pretty Palette and Pretty Patterns). This particular team focuses on color challenges. I have always stayed clear of color challenges...I'm always afraid that I would use the wrong color!

For this card the color challenge is Melon, Blue, and Lime. I'm not sure I hit the mark on the melon. I'm not really sure what color melon is - pink or orange? I hope I came close. Either way, this card was different for me. I feel as if I stepped outside the box a tiny bit - by adding the bird. I wanted something a little different. I just love how this card came out. I used this gorgeous flower from the digital stamp set called So Fortunate

Pretty Palette Details:

You can use the palette on ANY type of project!

While participation with products from My Time Made Easy ™ LLC is appreciated, it is not required to participate. You can use products from ANY company.

Every other week we will pick a winner from the palette participants, and announce them the following week, when the next Pretty Palette Challenge is announced.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #162

Good Morning TMS Fans -

It's a great Tuesday here in Denver. The day is going to be hot, but I look forward to the cooler air coming our way toward the end of the week. I have had a full week with my new students and they are such a fabulous group of children. I have 8 boys and 18 girls! I'd say that's pretty even.

This week at TMS we have a DT favorite sponsor - Doodle Pantry and a fabulous sketch. I am so happy to see the amount of players. Your work has been so good. I need to apologize that I have not been around to make comments. Things should slow down soon - and I'll be back around.

For my card I selected this cute image called - Book Ants. Don't you think those ants carrying that huge book is just adorable? I totally love it.

Be sure to stop by the rest of the DT and see their amazing creations. Here is this week's sketch. Can't wait to see what you put together.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!
