Tuesday Morning Sketches #139

Good Morning Crafters -

It's a busy day today!! Here at Tuesday Morning Sketches we have a great sketch and a new sponsor. DT member Jessica designed today's sketch and our sponsor is My Creative Classroom. I've taken a couple of classes from them and have enjoyed them. Be sure to check out their blog and their list of upcoming classes. What's cool is that one person will win a free seat to a class of their choice.

For my card today I used a Workshop on the Go Kit called Mayberry. I bought this set and today is the first day it's seen ink. I feel like I'm just obsessed with buying and then I never use. I need to get better at this and use a lot more of the gazillions of stamp sets that I have.

TMS-#142

I spent part of yesterday with TSG DT member, Karen Giron and she taught me how to take better photos and edit them. I hope this looks better than some of the photos I've posted. I think I still have some work to do because it's my old tired eyes having to make all the adjustments!! Either way, I like my card. It came out a lot better than I expected.

Here is today's sketch:
Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to stop by the rest of the DT to see their amazing creations. I can't wait to see what you make.

Have an awesome day!
Theresa

Theresa, this is wonderful! I'm with you, need to use all the stuff I "had" to buy. Love the sentiment with your image. Think your photo looks great too!

Shopping is just too much fun for our own good sometimes :) I like your goal!
I find that photos are a process. I know I'm better than I was, but it takes time (and un-tired eyes sometimes!) to really improve. For what it's worth, I think this photo is great, especially considering the range of colours captured! Those are trickiest for me.

Oh I know what you mean about the too much stamp stash predicament! :) I have oooodles of digis (which is good they dont take up room) but I dont think I will ever have the time to use them all even once sometimes. I love my stamps and at least I remember to play with them as they sit in a big box in front of me!! :) lol.

Your card is smashing hun - really has a retro feel to it, and a lovely and fresh look.

What a super fun 'teacher's' card, Theresa. Fantastic dp and that center apple is spectacular. The pearl centered flowers are the perfect accompaniment for that apple.

Theresa, this is a beaut! That apple stamp is awesome, and would make a fab teacher card. Love that quilted paper, too. Your photo looks great, too, btw!
