As a result of participating with LIM I have found some wonderful crafters and some wonderful new stamping companies. One particular company that I learned about and am totally impressed with is La-La Land Crafts. I am totally in love with Irina's images. The first imagae I colored is called Fancy Marci and I used their online example and tutorial as my guide for coloring. I absolutely love how this came out. I spent about 4 hours coloring this image...and I think it was time well spent.
I also wanted to shout out a great big thank you to all the LIMettes for all your fabulous comments on my blog!!
As inspiration for the design on the card I turned to The Sweetest Thing - Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #124. Although I wanted to go crazy with the DP and ribbon - I kept it very clean and simple.
Recipe:
Stamps: La-La Land Crafts (Fancy Marci - digi); There She Goes (Bloom - sentiment)
Ink: PrismaColor Colored Pencils
Paper: Bazzill Basics Paper (baby blue medium, huckleberry pie, lillywhite); Elizabeth Park (teal daisy)
Accessories: ribbon and rhinestones (stash)
