This week over at Our Creative Corner their challenge is a photo inspiration challenge. It's a tough photo. The host has challenged us to select one of the photos and create a card. The kicker here is to not use any DP!!
I hope that my selection is pretty obvious. I happened to like the tile work on the side of the red building and all the windows. I think there is a great deal of texture in the photo. I really tried to capture all it.
I think photo inspiration challenges are difficult. I tend to take things very literally. I'm not sure if that is what one is supposed to do. When I created my card I was not sure I liked it until the next day.
Then I showed it to my friend Lee and she totally got all the elements that I put into my card. I tried to capture everything (no trees though). I hope you like it and I can't wait to read your comments.
Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!

Excellent card – the effect of the textured red paper is excellent in comparison to the inspiration photo. This template/technique would work well for many different occasions (with very little adjustment).
Love it!
OMG what a great card! I love the CAS look and the different textures you used on this card. Great job of interpreting the photo.

Wow, very Clever .... great take on the inspiration pic....
This is an amazing interpretation of the photo! The window and the orange squares are great and the sentiment is wonderful. I love that you used that photo as your inspiration, it's a great little restaurant too... Fantastic job on the challenge, thanks for joining us this week at Our Creative Corner!
What a fantastic sentiment - could there be anything more perfect for this challenge than the elements you've chosen? Sigh. Love it.
Wow! This is COOL! Great job on your card.
