This past Tuesday I met up with my friend Lee, DT Coordinator for Gina K. Designs. We met through There She Goes and she and I have become pretty good friends. I mentioned how much I loved the last Gina K. release. She was kind enough to bring the set and let me stamp a few images until I can purchase the set for myself.
I love the sentiment, "Overcome the notion that you have to be regular. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary." This holds a personal meaning for me. I just had to put it on a card. I just love the image. I guess I could've colored her all up, but I love the black and white theme. In blog hoping the other night I found another amazing crafter - Vixx Handmade Cards. She is a fabulous colorist and loves to create lots and lots of layers. I took inspiration from her and borrowed a couple of her layouts to create my card.
Thanks for stopping by.

You made me giggle, which is exactly what I needed. Love the card with the pop of red and fab b&w papers!
Ohh such a fabulous card! I sneaked peeks at some of your others too... just AWESOME!!! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving me some "Niceness." :-) Your little glasses story made me laugh!
Hi Theresa! Thx for visiting my blog and your sweet comments!
I agree - Vicky is brilliant (I've been stalking her for aaages, lol!!).
I love your style! This card is so well put together and the touches of red are pure genius!
Have a lovely weekend!
LOVE all your layers Theresa!!~
Theresa, this is so eye catching. Love the small pop of red, it's fabulous. Neat layout, too. Sorry about the glasses, I think things like that happen to all of us.
Hugs~Kathy
Wow, this is such a striking card Theresa! I love the splash of red. A couple of years ago I was standing behind a colleague as she blew the whistle for the end of break. For some reason she swung her arm back and caught my glasses with her hand. I watched helplessly as they flew across the yard! xx
So nice card! Thanks for sharing :)
Rediculous things like this happen to me ALL THE TIME!!! hahaha
I really enjoy this card Teresa!
Hope you are enjoying your summer!
Lisa
Oh my Theresa! I can't believe you flushed your glasses. At least the frames are OK, right?
Love the card! I really like the black and white with the splash of red. Really striking!
Wow Theresa! :) I really love this! Fab image and amazing layout, and your eye for just putting the red colour on the balloons shows a real arty streak!

Glasses mishaps are the absolute worst - I hope you have an old pair stashed somewhere so you don't have to be fuzzy-eyed until the new ones come. Besides not being able to see, I guess glasses are probably the most expensive "little" thing we can mess up. Ugh, ugh, UGH. I definitely have those kind of things happen...feels like a lot, probably you can tell from what I blog about...luckily no toilet mishaps lately. Knock wood.
Well, on THAT note, I love your card. I love that sentiment, and the neat silhouette. I love the little pop of red in the balloons - perfectly sassy :)
This is gorgeous!! Love it!
Oh my goodness...what a crazy story! I LOVE all of the bold black and white layers in your card and the splashes of red!! And that sentiment is FABULOUS!!!
This is just fabulous! I love the vibe of this card! You can join the ranks of my boss who dropped his cell phone in and it was GONE!
