Blueberries

I am pushing it again to enter my card into the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday #130. I swore that I would not let work take over and take presidence over of my crafting. What did I do?? I'm sorry and sad that I have made or posted a card until today. I really need to find that balance, but it's so hard.

This week their challenge is to Be Fruitful! I selected Berry Sweet from Flourishes. I love the set. I have never colored blueberries before. I'm not sure that I got the right color. I was at the grocery store and looked at the different brands. I think these are a little more purple than blue, but I do like the coloring.

Blueberries

The rules this week is that this card cannot be used for any other challenges. I hope it's okay that I used a sketch from Chupa's Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #24. I don't think her sketch is a challenge, she loves to create sketches and share them. If prizes are attached, I didn't see anything. I just used her sketch, but I won't post it to her challenge. Wanted to give credit where credit it due.

I hope that you like my card. Thanks for stopping by, have an awesome day!

Very pretty Theresa. I think blueberries are darker, but in coloring them, you'd lose the details. You did great!!

Fantastic card. The berries look great...better than the ones I saw at the store. The first week is always the hardest.

I love the combination of blues - I find blue a really hard colour to 'match' when I'm creating! Your berries turned out lovely. Fantastic shading on them & the leaves as well. And as for balance? It's early days yet, and the chaos of the beginning of the year is hard to juggle with the rest of life. I know even just getting my own kids settled in for the year takes a toll, and I'm not coping with dozens! All that to say, you will find the balance :) It'll come.
