Last Thursday was my birthday and I was really showered upon. I want to say thank you to all the children, my colleagues, friends, and family for all the wonderful gifts. I have been wanting to CASE Silke's cards for a month now. I finally got the time today to sit down and make some clean and simple cards.
I totally love the technique used. I used a clear stamp block and put the stamp pad directly onto the block, misted it with water and then stamped that onto the cardstock. I love how it came out. This card came together very quickly. I think they make fabulous thank you cards. I hope you do to!
Again, thank you for visiting me and I look forward to getting around to see everyone's creations. Have an awesome day!!
Recipe:
Stamps: Flourishes (Sweet Days of Summer & With Gratitude)
Ink: Close to My Heart (Parchment & Creme Brulee); Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Bazzill Basics
Accessories: Metals (Mark Richards)

What a fantastic card! I'm going to try that technique with the stamp pad on the block. So cool! Thank you for ALL those sweet comments on my blog! It really means a lot to me. Hope you were feeling okay enough to have a fabulous birthday last week!!! ~Hugs, Cheryl
OK, I'm about to go sit at my crafty desk soon, and I hope I remember long enough to try that stamping block technique FINALLY. I love the effect on your card, and those lovely silvery pearls are the perfect accent to the gorgeous silhouette.
And, happy birthday! I hope when you're feeling better you can continue the celebration :)
What a cool card. Clean... simple... but with HUGE impact. Great job!!
What?! You inked and misted a stamping block and stamped with it, that is brilliant. This card is CAS, but has huge wow factor. LOVE everything about it.
