Tuesday Morning Sketches #155

It's a wonderful day here in Denver...and I'm in a class all day learning to add and subtract! Actually learning to get kids to think about how they add and subtract. Fun fun!!

It's time for a new sketch and sponsor at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Our sponsor this week is none other than the Cupcake Craftroom - one of the DT's that I have the privilege to be on. The Cupcake Craftroom offers some fabulous digital papers. Be sure to check out Mandy's store. The sketch is totally awesome and can be interpreted in many ways.

TMS-#157

For my card I used Cupcake Craftroom digital paper Spring Bouquet and Primrose Path. The image is from Flourishes and called Make a Wish. Isn't that rose just dreamy? Believe it or not the bow is not peach, but a really beautiful light pink. Somehow with the photography - it looks peach!!

Here is the sketch. I do hope that you'll take the time to visit the DTs blogs and see their fabulous creations. I can't wait to see what you do with this sketch.
Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!!

Another beauty, Theresa! Your coloring on that image is unbelievably gorgeous! I have that set, but haven't used that particular stamp--now I want to! Oh, and if you have any tips on teaching adding and subtracting to kids that you want to share, I'd love to hear them. My DD and I are working on that now, before 3rd grade starts. She's a wiz reader, but math is a little tougher for her.

Gorgeous! I love the gems for that element, and the rose...so pretty :)
Yahoo! on the adding & subtracting. It's so different now from when I learned in school - I was lucky enough to sit in on a few classes when Connor was in 3rd grade to re-learn via Base 10. Manipulatives are fun ;)
