Tuesday Morning Sketches #141

Good Morning TMS Fans -

Today we have a wonderful sketch and a great sponsor. Our sponsor is Digital Delights...and I got to work with this delightful Humpty Dumpty image. I love the story and when I saw the image I was too excited. I had a fun time coloring the little guy.

Okay, this was the first time really that I tried using liquid pearls...they're kinda tough! I love the effect it gave on this card. This week is also a Judged Challenge week - and it's to "Think Spring." What more "spring-y" than eggs? I pulled all the spring paper I had and I love the colors in this paper. I hope you to do.

Here's this week's sketch and don't forget "Think Spring!"

Please be sure to stop by the DT and check out their amazing cards. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Oh...head over to Digital Delights they are having an enormous sale on their digis!

Eggs are perfectly springy :) Brilliant! I love the liquid pearls - just the right touch for Humpty! (And a nerdy tidbit...did you know, nowhere in the verse does it say that Humpty is an egg? MIND BLOWN! lol)

Very cute! Those liquid pearls look just like yolk drops; maybe from after the fall??

What a great nursery tale image, Theresa. So glad that he hasn't fallen down because then we'd never see all the great paper piecing that you did! This really adds so much depth. He's a real cutie!

Girl, you rocked this sketch! Awesome coloring on that image--I'd never be able to color white well. Love the popped up hat, tie, and cuffs. Too cute! And, btw, great job on the Liquid Pearls! ~Hugs!

Liquid pearls are tough but you did a wonderful job with them. And great coloring in creating white (that's hard to do too:))
