TSG ~ Dollar Friday Find

Hello All ~ It's my turn to host the Dollar Friday Find over at There She Goes. I have this wonderful friend and every year she goes up to the mountains and chops down herself a Christmas tree. Well this year she was kind enough to chop me one down too. I haven't set up a tree in more than 8-10 years. Finding my ornaments may be impossible. So when I thought about my project for tonight - I immediately thought ornaments.
As I was looking at clear ornaments at Michael's, I was so excited to see that they were 50% off. I bought 3 of them and spent less than $2.00. The one I selected for my project was an oval shaped bulb and it was .64 cents!! How's that for a buck?

I selected the new Hohoho set to create my ornament. I colored Santa with Copics and then I adhered him to the ornament with a product from Close To My Heart called Liquid Glass. I also added snowflakes to the inside of the ornament. It's just so darling and it's my first ornament on my tree!

Ornament

I adore this ornament and it was so easy to make. I plan on making the reindeer that are in this stamp set while I am off for the next two weeks. These are going to sparkle beautifully on my little tree.

Also, in the photo is a tree that I made using my Art Philosophy cartridge. I cut the banner image, folded it in half (I wasn't very accurate though!) and then put them together to create my 3D tree.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope that you have enjoyed my project. Have an awesome day!!
Theresa

Both of these ornaments are amazing! I make my sister ornaments each year, and I did glass balls for the first time last year. Ahem. Not my favourite experience ever! lol but they do look amazing!
