Stampbook Saturday ~ Theresa

Hi All ~ I totally love making scrapbook pages, just wish I had pictures of my family to put on them!! Today is my day to make the Stampbook Saturday page over at There She Goes. With the latest release there are so many stamp sets to choose from. I selected Holly Jolly because I really wanted to stamp the beautiful snowflakes in this set.

I've made a new friend at work...Danny, one of the facility assistants. He was sharing photos of his children and I couldn't resist using the photos to make my Stampbook page. What I struggled with was how could I use all the December released stamps sets on this one page. I settled on Holly Jolly and was totally inspired by Melyssa Connolly's beautiful card.

For my Stampbook page I used my Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut out the snowflake. I wanted to compliment the red the children had. I totally love the gold that I added to the page. I can't wait to give this page to Danny and his wife. I just know they'll love it!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have an awesome weekend!! I plan on sleeping in tomorrow and basically lounge around in my jammies all day. I'm on Christmas break for the next two weeks - YAHOO!!

I tried to reply to your comment about my crocheted mats, but you're set to 'no-reply-blogger' - seriously, if you want some crocheted mats, all you need to do is email me your address, and I'll send you some! My email is onecraftymama at hotmail dot com. And I MEAN IT! I'd love to see what you would make with them :)

Dear Theresa,
Thank you so much for the beautiful piece of art you made Danny and I. I have never seen anything like this before, it was very well put together. We are appreciative you took your time to make this creative and memorable page for our family. Our children mean the world to us and we are very blessed. Have a wonderful and relaxing time off. Thank you once again. Kristy and Danny

This looks tremendous! :) It really made me smile - beautiful scrap page.

I have never tried scrapbooking, though I have about 10 empty albums! lol. I always mean to make one each of my dogs and one of our wedding. Maybe I will try next year :)

hugs

What an awesome page! I've never made a scrapbook page, but I saw a shadowbox 12 x 12 frame at Michaels that has "door" front so you can change the picture. Perfect for a dimensional scrapbook page, so I may give it a try. I'm sure your friend was thrilled with this one. What a thoughtful gift.
