Happy Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello Crafters...it's another fabulous day at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Today, Melissa's challenge sketch is fabulous. It's the kind of sketch that you can challenge yourself or make it simple. When I saw the sketch I had my mind set on paper medallions. A few months back Sandra MacLean posted a Halloween cup with a paper medallion and instructions. I followed her instructions, but I had no idea what I kept doing wrong. The paper would tear when I tried "scruntching" it down to make the medallion. I tried and tried and it never worked so I got fed up and quit. Well in my mind the sketch demanded medallions - I sat followed a YouTube tutorial over and over. I got it!! I couldn't believe it - they went together like bread on butter. Who knows. It was probably the state of mind.

I like the card that I put together only I make the mediallions and the paper two different colors. I didn't like solid medallions, and I didn't like the solid red...I just didn't have a very good selection of patterend paper. Oh...looks like I need to go shopping. I used the There She Goes ROLF Taglines. I have been wanting to use this set for a long time. I love the images and the sentiments. I was feeling a bit moody when I made the card and was hoping I could click my heels 3 times and go back home to where I was a little girl and start all over - knowing what I know now that is.

This week's Tuesday Morning Sketches sponsor is Gingerloft. She has some great digis, so be sure to stop by her blog and take a look.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!
