My Time Made Easy ~ Pretty Palette #70

A while back I applied for the My Time Made Easy ™ LLC ~ Pretty Palettes Team. I had no idea that I would that they would pick me. Well they did. So now I am on both their teams (Pretty Palette and Pretty Patterns). This particular team focuses on color challenges. I have always stayed clear of color challenges...I'm always afraid that I would use the wrong color!

For this card the color challenge is Melon, Blue, and Lime. I'm not sure I hit the mark on the melon. I'm not really sure what color melon is - pink or orange? I hope I came close. Either way, this card was different for me. I feel as if I stepped outside the box a tiny bit - by adding the bird. I wanted something a little different. I just love how this card came out. I used this gorgeous flower from the digital stamp set called So Fortunate.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #162

Good Morning TMS Fans -

It's a great Tuesday here in Denver. The day is going to be hot, but I look forward to the cooler air coming our way toward the end of the week. I have had a full week with my new students and they are such a fabulous group of children. I have 8 boys and 18 girls! I'd say that's pretty even.

This week at TMS we have a DT favorite sponsor - Doodle Pantry and a fabulous sketch. I am so happy to see the amount of players. Your work has been so good. I need to apologize that I have not been around to make comments. Things should slow down soon - and I'll be back around.

For my card I selected this cute image called - Book Ants. Don't you think those ants carrying that huge book is just adorable? I totally love it.

My Time Made Easy

Hello Crafters -

I am so excited to make this announcement. I was asked to join the My Time Made Easy Pretty Patterns Design Team. I was supposed to start week before last, but due to technical difficulties I couldn't get started.

For my card today, I used this beautiful flower set called Be Dazzled. It's just so lovely. I chose not to use a sentiment so that I can customize it later when I decide to give it away - as if I would!!

I find when I make cards in this orientation, I can't seem to get my image that is posted here larger. So please click on the image and you'll be able to see the detail in the flowers and the DPs.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #161

Okay, I struggled at writing my post last night, so I decided to wait till now to complete it! I was so tired by the time I got my card done that I just couldn't keep my eyes open. Going back to work has been a very rough transition!

This week Raisin Boat is our sponsor. As Melissa calls it, it's the Blockbuster of stamps. You can rent the stamps and send them back and get new ones. How cool is that? For my card this week I am using a set called Naughty or Nice. This snowman is just too sweet. Meredith, if you're reading this...they have a puppy in this set too (two of them to be exact)!

There She Goes Release Week | Day Three

Day three here at There She Goes. This set is sure to become a favorite of yours. I know I love it!!

For my card I decided to go a little wild with my Copics. I was just trying this technique and I love how it came it!! I can't help but love the sentiment. I love the smile on this little crab - it makes me happy.

It's day two at There She Goes and this set is totally awesome!!

Since I am changing grade levels this year I am getting to know one of my teammates, Chris. We were talking about our college days and learned that he nearly played professional baseball. Our favorite new animal at There She Goes is the Donkey, and this month Melyssa has found great new ways for us to dress up our Donkey however we see fit. With his super cute tee shirt, and several sayings, you can send Donkey to the University, or just let everyone know what a STUD he is!! We hope you love this set as much as WE do, because believe me, we are in LOVE!!

For my card, I just couldn't resist using this sentiment. Although I debated for days because the sentiments are a hoot!! If you don't mind me saying so - I think I rocked the coloring. Hope you think so too!!
