My Time Made Easy

Hello Crafters -

I am so excited to make this announcement. I was asked to join the My Time Made Easy Pretty Patterns Design Team. I was supposed to start week before last, but due to technical difficulties I couldn't get started.

For my card today, I used this beautiful flower set called Be Dazzled. It's just so lovely. I chose not to use a sentiment so that I can customize it later when I decide to give it away - as if I would!!

I find when I make cards in this orientation, I can't seem to get my image that is posted here larger. So please click on the image and you'll be able to see the detail in the flowers and the DPs.

So, let’s get sketchy! You are free to MTME's sketches on any project you want, get your creativity on! While participation with products from My Time Made Easy ™ LLC is appreciated, it is not required to participate. You can use products from ANY company. Sketch Keyword is MTMEPPS70.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!

My Time Made Easy

Afternoon Friends -

I was encouraged to apply for the My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette DT and I thought why not? I think it's time to break out of my comfort zone of comfortable colors. So here are my submissions to this wonderful group of designers. I have used many of the My Time Made Easy templates, but when my computer fried I had to upgrade everything - therefore I can't use the templates because Cricut doesn't want to play with SCAL. Bummer heh!!

The submission stated to make two card using Pretty Patterns sketches #66 & 67. Use any of the Pretty Palette color challenges. Here are my two cards.

Isn't this little girl too precious. I want to be her frolicking after butterflies.

For my card I used the color palette of daffodil, white, and dark grey. The sketch was a bit challenge in determining how to do the frame. I had fun getting the paper cut and lacing it together. I think the effect makes the card pop.

I just loved this image too! The set comes with all kinds of Back to School images and I had a hard time picking which image to go with. I finally settled with this darling little girl who is ready to go back to school - unlike me. Today is my last day of vacation - it all begins tomorrow. Kids in two weeks!!
For this card I used the color palette of daffodil, coral, pear, and black. Can you all believe I didn't make a card using pinks!! These cards were really fun to put together. Even if I don't make the team I believe I'll start playing with color challenges.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!!
