Thanks to all of you that joined us in July for our month long anniversary celebration. I enjoyed gazing at your beautiful work. When I went to their blog to select an image to play with, I had a hard time making a choice. I finally settled on this darling duck called Lillie with Tulips. I think she's darling. I only colored her about three times. First, I did the shading and that looked terrible. It was as if my brand new sponge had four or five different colors of ink on it and I had a rainbow shade. Then I got the shading right, but used the wrong paper because my watercolors bled all over. Then viola I finally got it right...I just adore how this came out.
