There She Goes Release Week | Day One

I am lovin' the new way There She Goes is doing their release week - 4 days!! The releases just get better and better. So hold on because you're going to love this ride. I wasn't sure I'd be playin', still not feeling well, but I love my TSG.

Melyssa is at it again, and just in time for all your graduation needs! This stamp set is PERFECT for ANY grad, young or old!! There is NO better way than to honor your favorite grad with a card, or scrapbook page, honoring their achievements!

ConGRADulations is a 4x6 set that includes a total of 17 stamps and will sell for $15.00.

My older sister asked me to hook her up with a graduation card for her husband's granddaughter. I looked up the school colors and this is what I came up with. She totally love it!! She paid me $6.00 for the card - not a bad deal heh!! Here's what I came up with.

Would you like to win the new ConGRADulations stamp set? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post.

You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning new stamps! The Blog Hop Challenges will be open until 5 PM Eastern Time Saturday,
May 26th with the winner being announced during the release party chat.

It's a Birthday Party Hop!

Good Morning!

Today is a special day for all us There She Goes fans...today Jessica's birthday. Meredith (Crafty Math Chick) once again put together another amazing blog hop to help celebrate our favorite business owner.

For my card, I needed to make it plain and simple. I was trying to go for the "Debby" (Debby Hughes) look. I wanted it clean and simple. I used Scootin' By Accessories for the balloons and A Little Treat for the sentiment. I like it!! Believe it or not this card took me a few hours to complete. I don't feel well, so I am sure that had everything to do with it taking so long.

I won't keep you...enjoy the rest of the hop. Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #146

Good Morning TMS Fans!

I'm sorry I missed last week - just had too much on my plate. This week won't be much better. The end of the school year is always very busy and on top of it I woke up sick this morning and now I have a very serious sore throat!

We have a wonderful sketch this week and a returning sponsor - DRS Designs. A big thanks to them for sending me this gorgeous stamp to play with. I chose this gorgeous Dogwood Branch stamp. Next to daisies and orchids these are my favorite flowers. I was excited to learn that they come in pink! I had to add the brown because the dogwood I've seen has always been an dark ivory nearly brown color. I just love how these came out.

I'm thinking I should have taken another photo and gave you a side view. I layered the flowers and different levels and you really can't see that at this view. I know the bow is not part of the sketch, but I love bows on my cards. I love this brown - I need to shop for more!

I hope you'll play along with us this week. Here is today's sketch and be sure to check our DRS Designs. Also, please be sure to stop by the DT and leave a little love.

Have an awesome day!!

For my card today I chose to use Friendbots!! I wanted to go with something outside my comfort zone, flowers, so I chose this fun set to highlight. Isn't this just darling? I have a little guy in my class that I had from last year. He has been struggling all year and he asked if he could be with me till the end of the year. I think I'll give him this card. Many Thanks

While waiting to do laundry - I needed to put together a thank you card together for a friend. I hate doing laundry especially when someone in the building forgets about their clothes and makes others wait for what seems forever!!

I made this card to apply for a DT position at Freshly Made Sketches and to play along with their current sketch challenge #33. I love working with sketches and would love to be a part of this team. Their rules are "clean" not CAS - they want to see clean lines and free of distressing. I'm beginning to like that style.

Thanks

I appreciate your stopping by tonight. Have an awesome evening!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #144

Good Evening Crafters - Yes, I am late again today. I got home from school last night and got preoccupied and just lost track of time and what I needed to do. I think I need a calendar for my calendar!

This week I am totally excited that we have The Ribbon Carousel as our sponsor. They have a lot going on this week. They are celebrating their 1 Year Anniversary and offering 20% off through May 7th. I love their Ribbon Club Kit. I have so many fabulous ribbons and I hate to use them - I have a new hoarding addiction!! Not only does Corinna have ribbon, she has paper! Okay, I need to go shopping.

TMS-#147

Marie designed the sketch this week. I just love this layout. I did add the sentiment (which was not part of the sketch). Normally I don't add a sentiment, but I love this one. Isn't that ribbon luscious? I broke into my Ribbon Carousel stash and I think the color is just perfect. What's interesting is my photo shows the buttons as red, but there really are a match to the ribbon color - photography geez!!
I look forward to your cards. Last week's cards were amazing and I appreciate all the comments and players.

Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day!
