TMS & TSG23

It's a beautiful day in Denver (not weather wise)! Here is my card for Tuesday Morning Sketches. I simply made this card for TMS, but as I was reading TSG's blog this week I can join in on their challenge this week as well - a monochromatic card. This is my new set from Close to My Heart - I just love it!! I hope you do to. I have never made a monochromatic card before, but I love the sketch and wanted to use the tree in the set - so I made a little switch. I can't wait to make more cards with the rest of the set!

It's My Birthday!

Today (10/6) is my Birthday and Life Celebration Day! It's been 2 years since I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I just recently had my mammogram and I am cancer free! YAHOO!! On top of all that - it's my birthday. I want to celebrate by offering some blog candy. Leave me a comment and I will randomly select one lucky person to share my happiness. Crop Retreat Weekend

I was off for the weekend cropping my little heart out!! A lot of what I made was for Tuesday Morning Sketches (so I can't share at this time). I did make an actual scrapbook layout page that I would like to share - haven't added the photos, but I will. The paper and the stamps are from Close To My Heart. I love the colors and the flourish stamps.

TSG21 Trendsetters Say Goodbye

This week TSG is saying goodbye to some of their Trendsetters (boo hoo). The challenge is to case one or more of the of the Trendsetters cards. I had a hard time deciding which Trendsetter to case because they are all so wonderful. Well I sort of put two cards in one. I cased two cards from the amazing Silke Ledlow. I just love the new Treemendous set and really wanted to ink it up. I took the inspiration from the following two cards: Bloom and Treemendous (please click on the names to see her beautiful work).

I left my good camera at work - so I may have to retake and repost Monday night. This picture doesn't show off the silver brads. I love this card...and I hope you do to.

Tuesday Morning Sketches No. 12

TSG-20 & Some Mojo!

I can't believe it! I got a little wild today. I decided to try a Mojo Monday sketch and combine it with my favorite stamps challenge - There She Goes. I used the first stamp set I purchased from TSG titled Rejuvenate. I just love the perfume bottles and partially popped them off the page. The circles are from Close To My Heart (another favorite company of mine). I popped the top circle up as well. I know exactly who I need to give this card to...my massage therapist. She has had a rough couple of months and definitely needs to pamper herself.

Tuesday Morning Sketches

This week was not a sketch challenge, but a RIBBON challenge. When I began this project I had different images going through my head...this is what came out. I am not sure that I am fully statisfied with it turn out. I think that's because I had a completely different image in mind?? Hope you enjoy.
